Sausage sandwich advice

So, a colleague and I have to go on visit tomorrow which involves getting a coach at 6.30am . I volunteered to make us sausages sarnies for brekkie. I'm cooking the sausages now as I'm damned if I'm going to be doing it at 5am! But I was wondering how they would be if I put them in the microwave in the morning before making them into sandwiches and wrapped them in foil to keep them warm? Would they be alright?

Well they do say you shouldn't re-heat pork but I'm a one for flying in the face of good advice, so I'd do it.

How about putting them in a vacuum flask to keep them hot and then slapping 'em on the bread when you're ready for them?

i would have bought walls microwave sausages and nuked them in the morning.

Why not just have them cold?

They'll be fine as long as you reheat them thoroughly. The bread might go a bit soggy if left wrapped too long though.

Can have them cold just thought they would be nice warm.

They are cooked now so it'll either be cold or reheated. Any advance?

6.30 IN THE MORNING - re-heat and bugger the consequences!

i would reheat and wrap in foil....

keep the buttered bread seperately wrapped and add the sausages when required....
