DS is 9 months and I was thinking that peanut butter would be nice for him, it's very nutritious and it might encourage him to eat toast and chew a bit more. Is there anything that says he shouldn't have it? Should I stick to smooth varieties?

hey misdee - yes, it's been running for a while but they are still recruiting for it as far as I know. FAQs there will probably answer your questions far better than I can!

All I will say is that for us it was a very useful exercise as it meant we found out exactly what dd2 was allergic to just as she was coming up to weaning age, so it gave us confidence to proceed.

As far as the study goes though, once peanut allergy was established she was excluded from it immediately, and took no further part.

will give them a call once little ones arrives this winter if he/she appears to have eczema like the older three
