Is there a Mumsnet Children's Meal Planner?

Trying to create a menu for the children's meals - so I can plan ahead and make sure we have the ingredients, plus so that 5-a-day can be incorporated fully.

Is there such a thing as a Mumsnet Children's Meal Planner? Something that already has several selections of popular meals for various age groups, which incorporate as much fruit and veg as possible?

I'd be interested too. Determined to get this sorted by start of next school year. Hate last minute rush/think/hassle of "what are we going to eat tonight?"

Sounds a fab idea - maybe we can 'create' one between us by coming up with meal ideas, and then everyone can pick their own favourites that fit with their families.

Well, I know it's not free and online but this recipe book that my mum bought me, has a variety of different meal planners in the back (for different ages).

We have all actually eaten together since day one of weaning so have used mainly as inspiration (from all the different ages) but it has been interesting reading. We do meal plan for evening meals (although not so much for brekkie/lunch).

Thanks for the idea - we'll definitely look at incorporating something like this onto our recipes page.

Ooo - that'd be brilliant !

I know there have been loads of other threads on the subject and it would be great for everyone's collective wisdom to be summarised in one place.

Annabel Karmel does a book called After School Meal Planner with lots of good recipes in.
