What be a kitchen aid........??

Twiglett · 26/06/2008 18:33

is a kitchen aid like a magimix thing

I've got a breadmaker .. I like it ..

I'd love a magimix thing .. but always shy away because of the amount of faff in the dismantling and washing .. but I still hanker

MadamePlatypus · 26/06/2008 18:33

I think I'd rather have a kitchen aid, but I don't have either.

Twiglett · 26/06/2008 18:33

also a magimix is about 3 times the price of my breadmaker

flossie64 · 26/06/2008 18:34

Well it would have to be a bread maker as I don't have a scooby what the other is

MadamePlatypus · 26/06/2008 18:34

a kitchen aid is the thing Nigella has. However, I expect she also has a breadmaker.

Blu · 26/06/2008 18:36

Hmmm.
Have you already got a magimix?
If so, you don't need a Kitchen Aid, and a breadmaker would be fab.

If no magimix, get one of those instead of breadmaker OR Kitchen Aid.

(if i am right in thinking a Kitchen Aid is an original-style food mixer?)

A magimix is far more practical for lightening speed cake-making, also grating 6 tonnes of cheese when you have the whpole class in for baked potatoes on bonfire night. You can also use the dough hook on a magimix to get as far as that with bread-making.

then save up for a bread maker.

MadamePlatypus · 26/06/2008 18:37

I think Nigella has a magimix too.

Twiglett · 26/06/2008 18:42

oh god Blu did you have to confirm why I want a magimix

Twiglett · 26/06/2008 18:43

aha kitchen aid is gorgeous but impractical .. magimix-style versatility better

BreeVanDerCampLGJ · 26/06/2008 18:45

Oh God you can change the colour on the screen, this gastro porn.

BreeVanDerCampLGJ · 26/06/2008 18:46
