how do i make a chicken en croute

i have some puff pastry adn chicken obviously what do i do next?

ok or just a pie? can i just bung the chicken in the pastry

I would probably make a very thick white sauce. Fry onion, chicken, garlic and mushrooms together, touch of white wine, seasoning and some herbs of your choice. Mix into the thick sauce and let it cool. Then make sort of pasties with it. Sauce will have to be very thick though.

But I'm making this up off the top of my head so no guarantees it would work!

i have some white wine sauce (from a tin!) i'll add that to it. ta. really should know how to do this at my age
