I'm looking for a fool proof recipe for a jam sponge cake suitable for covering in sugarpaste and doing a bit of decorating on. Trying to get on from shops but all have some type of decorating on them. I just want a blank canvas and this might be the cheapest way to have a few trys to see what to do.
