Lamb chops - expiry date/freezing?

I have some lamb chops in the fridge which expire today. Am I able to freeze them from today even though it says freeze on day of purchase? Many thanks x

yes, as they could have been on sale in the shop today and if you had bought them that would have been your date of purchase so ok to put in the freezer.
