How can I make a pizza base fast?

DH wants pizza. Neither of us can be arsed to drive into town to get some. I've got the stuff to make the toppings of pizza, but have no bases and don't want to wait several hours for dough to rise etc. What else can I use?

I don't have any tortillas otherwise I'd just use that. Any ideas? Should I just give up and make a fritata like I was going to do?

yes,why not,it'd be quite solid and yummy then - Pizza Express make or used to make some potato based bases

ok - do any of you have a scone recipe that's good to use in this instance? the one I have makes incredible scones but they rise about a mile high - not what I want for pizza base

White bread mix works great if you happen to have one.

Otherwise, really thick slices of bread with all the usual stuff on, toasted - yummm.
