quick, how do i make soured cream?

I have cream and lemon juice but do i need anything else?
and do i need to whisk the cream first to make it thicker or will the lemon juice thicken it?

I think if you need it thick and sour then whisk it first.

Would it not be easier to buy some?

whip the cream, add a little lemon juice (you don't want it to curdle) and mix that with some yoghurt if you have any. And maybe chopped chives. It won't be axactly like sour cream but will still be nice I recon!

thanks, dinner was great, lemon creamy kinda goo but still added to the meal to calm the spicey chicken!
