Nigella's Farfalle with Ham and Peas.

Cook Farfalle. Meanwhile grate a load of parmesan and chop up some ham into bits.

A few minutes before the pasta is done, add a large handful of peas into the pasta pot.

When pasta and peas are cooked, drain and leave while you return pan to a low heat.

Put some double cream in the pan to warm through, add the parmesan and the ham. When its hot (don't let it boil) add the pasta and peas. Stir and serve.

fry some mince meat, chopped onion and garlic. Add cumin, cardamom if you want or other indian spices of your choice, black pepper, and lots of coriander.

Cook up some rice. Cook some peas.

Mix rice with peas and mince and serve, with yoghurt on the side and mango chutney.

boil pasta, meanwhile chop three ripe toms and a ball of mozzarella and put olive oil on them and add a blob of pesto (i made mine from scratch last night [virtuous] as was pissed off and a mortar and pestle is great for anger management...)

anyhoo, add the pasta to the mix, season and serve. if you have any fresh basil leaves tear them in as well.

Smoked mackerel, peas, creme fraiche and pasta.

Cook pasta. Add peas for the last couple of minutes. Strain. Break up mackerel into small bits and mix into pasta, along with a dollop of creme fraiche. Grate some cheese in, if you like.

Great comfort food. Had it last night with noodles, which was yummy too, and even quicker!
