Our DS, who is an average eater, has started to get a bit funny about his dinner.
He eats breakfast with us at the table - generally pretty good. He has lunch with one of of us or both of us, again at the table. He normally has supper at 5pm - 5.30pm and he now won't eat it saying he's not hungry anymore and then he gets down after some low level whines and plays with thomas / lego /puzzles.
At the end of the day he normally gets a few episodes of Pingu before bath, bottle and bed but we have now resorted to feeding him the rest of his dinner in front of Pingu because otherwise he'll wake up during the night hungry which is no good.
Are we wrong? Is this a battle worth fighting? Are calories in better than nothing? Is it just a phase?
