am running the cake stall at the fate this year so though I would make a few cakes. However was wondering if I could make them in advance and freeze them, then just defrost before decorating the day before.

Is this possible? and if so how best to freeze them so they defrost ok?

I find it easier to decorate birthday cakes when cold so akways freeze in advance. It may not be the best way but I cover in cling film then decrate day before birthday and defrost at room temp. hth
