Any chance it's safe to feed 3-day-old leftovers?

I made salmon in chive sauce on Friday am for DS (10 months) and forgot the leftovers until just now. Can I safely give for lunch today? They've been in fridge not frozen ... apologies if this is a dumb question. I am inclined to chuck but as salmon is so expensive thought I'd seek help first

to give your ds? I wouldn't personally. I wouldn't even eat it myself.

sorry, not put very well. Just got up

Sorry, but no.

I think salmon keeps for 48 hours in the fridge.

No, not something with meat or fish in it, no.

littlefrog · 16/06/2008 07:37

well, I'd taste it and see. I'd have thought it would be fine, personally...

LOL your title made it sound like you were going to feed your 3 day old your leftovers - definitely unsafe

No, I definitely wouldn't, especially if it is in a sauce. Breeding ground I'd say.

Cool, that is what I thought, but I am not very prone to saving leftovers normally () so thought I was maybe being paranoid. Will chuck it! Thanks very much.
