If I put a Jaffa Cake in ds' lunch box does that count as a fruit portion?

does lemsip count as a fruit portion?

Seuss · 15/06/2008 23:22

kidding. But seriously, ds has sensory issues regarding food and a limited diet - although we cover the food groups most days.
For us ds eating a chicken nugget is a good thing (a. eating chicken, b. eating un-mashed food) - even in Mcdonalds! Wacky I know! Guess I just wanted to say that chicken nuggets have their place in the world...as for Jaffa Cakes, well they are just yummy and no child should go without them.

Cherry venos, lemsip and Jaffa Cakes, we've got the fruit covered, chicken nuggets for protein....carrot cake - veg! Just need some carbs...

Seuss · 15/06/2008 23:39

Genius. Just off to make my healthiest meal in months...what about portion sizes? Just the one packet of pringles? They make those snack size ones now - ds calls them 'Pringle Babies'.
