What side dish should I take to a pizza night?

Been invited for pizza and drinks at a friend's who was recently gifted a pizza oven. There will be 10 of us in total, 5 couples, all adults and the hosts have asked if everyone can bring a side along. They're already making garlic dough balls and a dip and dessert and salad and coleslaw have already been claimed by other people. It's very casual and we'll have to option to heat things up if needed.

I'd rather make something than just buy something. No dietary requirements. What would you make?

@Kongking12 thank you! Sounds very similar to the buffalo chicken pasta we make regularly. Also if you haven't tried it I highly recommend The Sauce shops Buffalo sauce, I go through so much of the stuff!

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions. I know it sounds like a ton of food but we have a few very big eaters and it'll be eaten over 6/8 hours I expect with lots of drinks!

I would make a big coleslaw.

My recipe:

Half a red cabbage, very finely sliced
1 red onion, very finely sliced
2 large or 4 medium carrots, grated
1 small beetroot, grates
Bunch of fresh chives
100g half-fat Philadelphia
100g half fat mayonnaise.

Start by blending together the philly&mayo. Snip the chives into 1-2mm bits with scissors and stir in, then mix in all the shredded/grated veg.

Someone's already doing coleslaw...

You can have any number of varied salads. Spinach and mushroom? Watermelon and feta?

Wow thank you for that contribution @Woodfiresareamazing - this thread is 3 months old and the event is long in the past. What on earth was the point of your reply? Did it make you feel good to point out that someone made a mistake back in January?

Pasta salad? Or take a desert, tray of strawberry tarts or mini banoffee pies
