Habas con jamón

Fry up some garlic in plentiful olive oil and chuck in the podded beans. After a bit add chopped serrano ham or bacon and fry a bit more. turn off heat, add chopped parsley and eat with brown bread.

...you should put a lid on and cook for about 20 mins after ham is added...

QURTER SOME SHALLOTS AND FRY TILL CARAMElised oops, app some diced pancetta. Add a little stock, bung in the beans. or sumfink like that. Herbs. Done.

Make a summer greens soup (Jamie O I think)

I think you should put them in a bag, seal up the bag, and then put the sealed bag in the bin.

i love broad beans
good in risotto - with leeks, and lemon
lovely with bacon in any form
brill whizzed up with olive oil and lemon in a hummus type way

make buttons out of them?

Or an attractive bead necklace

Eat them? With butter

Thanks all, I'll fry em up with bacon or the rissotto sounds good. I'll save a couple for a necklace too
