quick answers needed!! defrosting food for baby!!! help!!

Hi my baby is due to wake up for his tea, he's 10 months old. I got a chicken and mash dinner i froze for him about 2.30 and left on side to defrost but its still half frozen, will it be ok to heat up or can i stand it in water etc? he's suddenly gone of jars so thats not an option! help asap!!!!

Have you got a defrost option on your microwave?

If not, just do 30 sec at a time and stir thoroughly in between. Make sure it's v v hot and it will be fine.

Sit it in hot water while you're waiting for him to wake.

no i dont have a microwave, it broke last weekend and stupid me decided we could "manage" without!!

I'd sit it in hot water until he wakes then warm it slowly in a pan over a low heat. I'm sure he'll survive for a few minutes!

i was more worried about the germs not being killed etc i dont want to poision him!! lol, i'll go stand it in hot water till his lordship wakes! thank u
