Ideas for a beefy salad

(wondering whether this title will get onto littlelapin's thread )

I feel like I need to eat more beef for iron levels, but I'm more of a salady/veg person, especially in the summer.

So, I want ideas for marinades or dressings that would go well with stir-fried beef on a bed of salad.

Also any ideas of good combinations of salad leaves. I'm feeling wholely uninspired today!

mmm, I don't think I can get fish sauce (in Spain), but maybe soy would do?

Sounds delicious.

Any more?

soy would be different but nice

we do a teriyaki thus:

season the steaks with pepper and cook till done to your taste, remove and rest
chuck into the pan some grated ginger and garlic, juice of a lime, good slosh of dark soy, slug of maple syrup, cook for a few secs till thick and sticky.
Slice steaks thinly on the diagonal, chuck onto salad, pour sauce over.

Baby spinach is a good salad leaf, or Little Gem lettuces (Waitrose do some particularly fine 'little ruby gem'). Also watercress.

I do a stir-fry with beef strips marinaded in a mix of Chinese five spice, soy sauce, garlic, fresh ginger and something sweet (tsp of sugar, or honey etc.). YUMMY!!!

(for some reason toasted sesame seeds work well in orientalish beef salads)

Lots of watercress in the salad, that is fantastic for iron too. In fact, brilliant for a lot of essential nutrients.
