Fruir OR Veg- which would you choose?

Inspired by the 5 a day thread...

I always get the impression that people would sooner eat fruit than veg but personally I'm not a great fan of fruit. I love veg though - strange cos I'd say I have quite a sweet-tooth.

I go through phases with fruit, if I have a particularly nice pear or satsuma or melon then I'll eat loads of fruit in the belief that I'll happen on something else I love. But it's rare.

So, if you could only have one or the other - fruit or veg - which would it be?

I too have a sweet tooth and love my cakes and pastries. But given the choice, I'd have veg any day, any time!!
A bowl of salad would excite me more than a mixed bowl of fruits.

Veg, I'm not a lover of fruit and I don't have a sweet tooth at all.

Veg.

Fruit is sometimes a bit of a disappointment to me. Not what I was hoping it would be (ie as good as chocolate ).

If there was no choice, i would definately opt for veg

I love both, but if I really had to choose, I would go for veg.

I think veg - with the exception of melon, I don't crave fruits especially but I'd hate not to have potatoes, cabbage, salad etc

I love fruit. I could eat lots of tangerines in one go.

fruit for me. But i like veg, it just takes more effort - peeling/boiling etc as opposed to washing.
