Hi all,
I have recently become a full time mother. I don't have much domestic experience.
Am trying to cook my husband a moussaka for tonight and I don't have any flour for the bechamel sauce. Is okay to reheat the lamb mixture-which I have already cooked-?

You should be able to reheat it but only the once. If it's just the 2 of you eating tonight could you just reheat enough for 2 and freeze the rest?

castille · 03/06/2008 13:34

I don't understand the link between lack of flour and reheating the lamb

Oh thank you!
I will let it cool down then reheat it in a couple of hours.
That will be alright, will it not?

Yes but just reheat your 2 portions mind!

Sorry, I didn't explain myself.
I wanted to put it all in the cooker now, but I have to wait as I cannot make the choux for the cheese sauce without flour

Is it going into a slow cooker?

castille · 03/06/2008 13:37

Ah ok. Yes then, leave it to cool, put in fridge and reheat (very thoroughly) later.
