Just made and devoured a delish fish pie.

I am going to have leftovers of said pie for my tea tonight.

All part of my new frugal 'Lets eat like Tom and Barabra from The Good Life' regime.

Please post the recipe.. I'm working up the courage to try making fish pie and need an inspiring recipe!

Oh god theres no recipe!

But heres what I did...
YOu need Spuds, salmon, fish of some sort (I used coley frozen from Asda), cheese, cream/creme fraiche, chives, Parmesan.

Boil up spuds for mash

Grill 2 largish salmon steaks

Poach the cheapo frozen coley steaks in some stock took about 10 minutes.

When all 3 things cooked, I piled the fish in a dish, poured a bit of cream and creme fraiche over it, seasoned, added some cheese and chopped chives.

I made the mash with cheese in it (used Parmesan and on the top)

Bunged in the oven for a bit. it was lovely!
