Carraway Seeds??

Can anyone recommend a replacement for Carraway Seeds in a recipe.
What flavour do they add?

tricky, they have a sort of aniseed flavour about them. fennel seeds?

Couldn't find carraway seeds in Sainsbury's!

They can be tricky to get hold of. Health food shops are a likely bet

I got some in Sainsbury's for seed cake
