french bread recipe

anyone got a good french bread / baggette recipe pleeeaase

oh leave it to the french
it's all to do with a special kind of flour with a special type of gluten content and super super hot ovens

but then I guess it depends on how authentic you want to be

is it to go with something special?

soups and cheeses etc.. I make my own bread and have never tried doing the french stuff.. I was wondering if anyone had any success with it, and if so,, how!!

You can't get the right flour here. wrong amount of gluten I believe
