Go to www.mysupermarket.com.

It will tell you whcih store is cheapest for your whole shop.

It might be faff to do it for the sake of it though if you are not intending to order online.

SlightlyMadSweet · 29/05/2008 11:29

Sorry I meant to hyperlink that but I see JustJool ahas beat me to it anyway.

bogie · 29/05/2008 11:31

you can compare but my guess is morrisons tescos always cost's us more if we do our shop there

ivykaty44 · 29/05/2008 11:31

It will depend which Tesco or Morrisons you actually go and shop at. The supermarkets dont charge the same prices in different stores around the country - the price will be more expensive if you live in a more affluent area.

i.e. Coventry tesco would perhaps charge £0.99 for 4 hot cross buns - but go and shop in the Tesco at Stow on the Wold and the price will be £1.20.

This is because in Coventry tesco has nearby competition of Morrisons, Asda and sainsbury - but Stow has tesco or tesco and the nearest next supermarket is at least 10 miles.

SmugColditz · 29/05/2008 11:34

none of the compare websites seem to have morrisons on them!

The Tesco and Morrison's I use are within 10 minutes walk of each other, plus Co-op near by, and Iceland too.

I am edging towards Morrisons, but have written my list in Tesco LAyout

Im in s yorks and morrisons is cheaper than Tesco.

And way nicer! (hate tescos by the way-souless dump that it is)

ivykaty44 · 29/05/2008 11:40

The tesco near me smell really bad - esp at the entrance - so I go to the further away supermarket to shop as it doen't smell!!
