Nigella's chocolate honey cake (the one with the bees on it in Feast) - anyone made it? Any good?

I quite fancy making it, but would be interested in hearing from someone who's been there already before I plunge in... the sticky icing particularly concerns me, as I want to make it to sell for half-time refreshments at our amdram group this weekend and it needs to be transported without leaving half the icing behind!

Thanks muchly

Have to say I didn't go so far as making the bees

Well, many thanks for your dedication to the cause, Soupy, much appreciated!

And thanks Olipop too. I have to say the bees were the main reason I wanted to make it... and I do like a honey cake (have never made one but had a non-chocolatey one on holiday years ago and it was lovely - hmm.. that's an idea, actually, make a 'normal' honey cake and then ice it with the choc honey icing...)

Any road up, I ended up making Nigella's old fashioned chocolate cake with the fudgy icing and that went down a treat tonight with the amdram mob!

Thanks again

the cake went down well with K20's builders. I've had requests for more next week...
