hiring cottage - meal/shopping planning

Hello

we've hired a cottage in St Ives in a couple of weeks. its the first time I've done this (with kids anyway - pre-kids it was eat out bonanza), was wondering what basics to get delivered (apparently Tesco deliver) and what meals to plan which aren't much hassle and don't require a lot of sauces/spices/ extras etc.

we have a DS aged 4 and a DS aged 1.5 so fairly easy-going meals are required

thanks for any tips/wise words from experience

I usually take from the freezer for the first night and it defrosts in transit.

Then a mixture of lovely meals and ultra quick things so for example:

salmon, new potatoes and salad
pasta and sauce
baked potatoes and fillings including a tub of bought coronation chicken
steak, chips, mushrooms, corn on the cob
a cooked chicken
a roast, auntie bessies roast potatoes and easy veg
pizza and salad
quiche

some yummy desserts maybe?

we buy lots of nice breads, nice lunch stuff and stuff for easy cooked breakfasts like sausages, pancakes, maple syrup, croissants etc. and lovely fruit and lots of wine

we do tesco online, get it to arrive as soon as poss after we do. you will need to establish if there's a decent sized freezer or not, otherwise you probably can't buy for the whole week.
