anyone got a recipe for bread and butter pudding

Not a recipe as such but I have got halfway through a recipe which is half milk/half cream and then realised I have no cream. I just added extra eggs to the milk to make it a bit thicker. It turned out all right but it was so long since I had the cream version I couldn't compare.

I make mine with brioche, tis lovely.

Delia has an 'Old Fashioned Bread Pudding' in the Complete Cookery Course that just uses milk, no cream. It's a sort of cake/pudding thing. Not the same as a bread and butter pudding, but delicious.
