Can someone please help me, we have made a batch of gingerbread people which we do not need until next monday, Do I cook them first, then freeze, or do I just freeze the uncooked gingerbread men. If it's any importance they are decorated with cherries and currants.
Thank you.

I tried to post on this earlier, but my machine went into "SLOWMO".

I don't actually know, but my instinct would be to freeze the uncooked men and then pop them straight into the oven from the freezer.

this says freeze dough and then cook later.

Thanks ILM and WWW I've bunged the whole lot in the freezer and I'll bake them on Sunday, If the worst comes to the worse I'll just have to make some more and try and decorate them as lovely as they are now!!(7 year olds made them)
