Easy!

Go to your local supermarket and buy 2 tins of Campbells condensed chicken soup. Add to casserole, with water. Serve with rice.

Optional, you could always top with a few dumplings.

Jamie Oliver has a chicken pie recipe which I adapt: brown the chicken pieces, remove from pan. Fry some chopped leeks and garlic (onions will do) until soft, add some chopped bacon, fry for a bit. Then add a tablespoon of flour (or so) and fry for a bit before putting in stock. Add back chicken pieces and chunky chopped carrots, then stock to cover. Throw a few tablespoons of lentils in as well to help thicken the sauce. Add some thyme, salt, pepper etc. Simmer for a while, add potatoes, simmer again for a bit until everything cooked. You wil lfind the chicken distintegrates a bit. You can add the potatoes at the same time but they tend to disappear. Mushrooms are nice if you have them (fry with the bacon). You can transfer the lot to the oven and cook in a casserole as well.

NO DO NOT ADD TINS OF BLOODY SOUP grrrrrr. Just add a few veggies, a stock cube and some water to chicken pieces and then blardy well simmer it for an hour.
Sorry but the addition of processed crap foods can ruin perfectly good ingredients.

Here is a really simple recipe.
Sorry for the outburst but you may have guessed that I have a thing against using campells soup although I do accept that it is a quick and easy way of getting a meal onto the table.
I am an elitist snob, sorry.

Oh dear - BIG problem - I didn't get your messages so I went ahead and prepared something.....what do you think this is going to end up like???

I browned the chicken, fried an onion and some garlic and put them in casserole. Added about 8 or 9 chopped peeled (fresh) tomatoes, black pepper (don't like using salt), a pint of chicken stock and a drop of white wine and I've chucked it in the oven on v.low. Ok - so it's going to be a) bland (right??) and b) runny!! Been in there about 20 mins or so - can it be saved?? What can I add that will go with the tommy's?? Carrots won't go will they? Should I add spuds or leave it and thicken with cornflour?? Hellppp....another potentially disastrous chicken casserole en route to my family!!! HELP>

Will definitely try some of the recipes above another time though!!

Hey that should taste pretty good imo. Have you any herbs, dried or otherwise? And if you add a pinch of salt it will enhance it lots without doing too much damage health-wise

Also when using tomatoes, a pinch of sugar often helps bring out their natural sweetness.
