Just went in to get lunch

This seems a really good deal

You can have

Salmon fillet with a soy saucey sort of thing
or
Chicken with mozzarella and basil and tomatoes
or
Veggie lasagne
or
Some other thing

Big nice salad
or
Mixed green veg thing with butter to microwave

Big thing of profiteroles
or
two strawberry tarts
or
fruit salad

plus a bottle of wine
(3 to choose from RRP around £6 or £7 each!)

If you took the most expensive of each of these it should cost around £18 or £19 so a good saving

if i choose carefully i will get two nights dinner for myself out of this!

Oliveoil · 22/05/2008 15:02

I have seen the tv ad so it should be in all shops imo

Flame · 22/05/2008 15:04

wish i saw this BEFORE going ot shops

Paddlechick666 · 22/05/2008 15:05

you needed that last night eh Olive?!

AitchTwoCiao · 22/05/2008 15:07

i'm going to take full freezing advantage of that, i think. m&s do well out of us the rest of the time, damn them and their nearby Simply Food store.

Whizzz · 22/05/2008 15:49

Sounds yummy - will check it out near us

shinyshoes · 22/05/2008 16:06

Oh crap I didnt realise it was take home, I would have bought it if I had known that .

Does anyone know how long the offer is on for ? and if the simply food one is doing it? I have one near me. It was advertised in the department store and I'm not going there anytime soon.

Paddlechick666 · 22/05/2008 16:53

be warned. It's not available in franchises so Waterloo wasn't doing it.
I have one more option on way home but not sure if that one is a franchise tho.

WilfSell · 22/05/2008 16:58

bargain!

Norfolkbumpkin · 23/05/2008 14:14

Just picked up a leaflet, the offer runs until the end of Monday 26th. My local M+S also had a bigger choice of items. I thought there wasn't much left until I realised that all the offer items aren't in one area. I'ts definitely worth having a quick scan down other aisles just incase other stuff is dotted about. I am so looking forward to our meal tonight. YUM!

the chicken mozzarella pesto thingy was very nice. the ceasar veggies were delicious and the panna cotta rounded it all off nicely.

didn't open the rose that i got as had some white to finish off already.

WilfSell · 24/05/2008 18:21

I have salmon, new potatoes, summer puddings and Merlot for us all tonight (I know, wine choice not great but it was all they had left!) Actually the kids will not be having the Merlot...

AitchTwoCiao · 24/05/2008 18:26
