quick and easy pitta bread fillings

really trying to broaden dd fussy taste buds and I bought some pitta breads for a quick lunch/tea, anyone got any filling ideas please.

meatballs and tomato ketchup then as you progress snuffle in some salad.

Cheese and cucumber.

soft cheese and ham.

Mexican chicken with cheese.

Humous and grated carrot.

I lay out bowls with stuff in for them to do themselves - works well with flour tortillas aswell.

Me and the dc's love a grilled pitta.

Cheese, cherr tomatoes, mushrooms, onions and a dash of worcester sauce and lightly grilled.

Tuna and cucumber

Ham and cheese

I hate it. dd loves it

soft/cream cheese and sweetcorn.

I prefer avocado, spinach and tomato

Falafels, salad, yoghurt, mint, harissa - yum.

Othewise I just like them toasted and sliced with hoummus and tsatziki.

Or pitta bread salad (ie: fatoush) which is fabbo.

another vote for falafels here - we spread hummus inside the pitta, add a bunch of salad and then some falafels on top. the cauldron food organic ones (you can get def them in tesco, sainers) are really nice and easier than making your own.

another one we like is roasted summery veg (courgettes, cherry toms, aubergine etc) and feta cheese crumbled on top.
