Any ideas that are yummy & don't involve an oven? If you micrwoave them do you need to peel them first?

Melt some butter, slice bananas and put them in the frying pan with the butter, add cinnamon and cook for 2 minutes. Add orange juice and cook for 2 more minutes. Delish.

What about ice cream? Could you mix them with (say) cream and/or condensed milk and freeze? I made some banana ice cream many moons ago and it was lovely with a warm chocolate melt-in-the-middle-type pudding.

Are these (or any other banana recipes) suitable with bananas that have gone black?

Hate to see them go to waste (I have quite a few!)

make banana loaf (it's in the dinner lady recipe book). It's very easy and delious! it can be made with black bananas.

I'm at work so don't have the recipe with me), perhaps someone at home has it and can help.

Mine is, as it ends up as mushy as you want anyway.
