Cold meat ideas for 15mo (not sausage rolls, obv)

DS has started having snacky finger-food lunches as he doesn't want a cooked meal until teatime. Bread and cheese are high on the menu but I wondered if he might enjoy picking at a bit of cold meat. I am veggie though so completely clueless, is all stuff like ham too salty? I don't really want half a pig sitting in the fridge and he only eats small quantities so would be good to get something that comes in small portions.

Since dd was about that age I've been giving her little bits of roast beef and roast chicken - leftovers if we've had it but I also buy the packs from Waitrose or M&S. They last quite a while. She loves beef!

she's not so keen on ham and I too have always thought it's probably a bit salty

Waitrose do a reduced salt ham, which my dd's like, I also give them veggie sausages and things like falafel (easy to make, and Cauldron do them in a packet).
