Food allergy

Hi folks,

I am finally starting to get more organised with my 15 mo and cooking more food rather than relying on jars. (I was doing more home cooking until I went back to work then relapsed!)

The problem is that I am allergic to tomatoes and her ladyship loves them. (I can eat tomato sauce and tomato puree though - god knows why?)

Any ideas for tomato replacements - usually I just use stock cube and 1 tbsp puree but am concerned it'll be too salty.

Thanks

the kallo veg stock cubes only have 0.4g of salt per cube, which is quite low, considering a slice of white bread has the same in it, so maybe you could use these? I'm sure I saw a thread a while back about some salt free cubes, but I could be wrong, anyone else think they saw it?

Thanks will look out for these.
