Or would the chocolate fall off when you bit into it?
Thinking about making them for school fete tomorrow - but have visions of kids biting into them and the chocolate sliding off in one go.
What do you reckon?

You can buy chocolate apples at the fair so I should think so. Not sure what will happen on a hot day though

I've seen them for sale so it must be possible...
sorry, can't be any more help!

yes but why would you want to when Toffee appples are so good??

MrsBadger · 16/05/2008 10:23

yes you can and they're much easier

the chocolate does fall off a bit but not the whole lot at once - juyst wash the apples well first so there's no wax left on them

Thanks all! I've seen chocolate ones for sale (dd prefers them to toffee oneS) but they're taht fake chocolate stuff not the real stuff I was planning to use - so didn't know if it would make a difference.
Thanks Mrs Badger - I'll buy my apples now!
