Babybel - OK for babies?

A random question - is Babybel ok for little ones? My DD is 13 months and I just noticed the label of regular babybel (Which she's been eating for ages) says salt as the second ingredient on the list, '1.8%', whatever that means.

Anyone know if they're safe (salt levels)?

My ds loves Babybel too. He's older now (2.3) but I buy the purple ones which are mild cheddar and don't have any salt which I would have thought were healthier? I think though, bearing in mind the size of the things, the salt levels are minimal even in the regular ones - buying the purple ones just makes me feel better
