What does your family eat all the time, but nobody else does?
I've been thinking about this after realising we're pretty much the only people who live on chickpea mash. It's a lovely lazy healthy (high fibre, highish protein, not low fat though) basic dish that takes no time and requires nothing fancy.
It's just chickpeas, garlic, and greek yoghurt - you rinse the tinned chickpeas and put them in a pot with garlic, boil them a bit, then drain, add yoghurt, and puree. Works well under cabbagy dishes, or meat dishes.
So what does your family live on that nobody else has heard of?
