How long does chicken stock last?

Exciting stuff eh for a Sat morning? Such a life I lead........

Anyhoo, must have made this stock ooooh, last Sunday? Has been in the fridge. Can I use or is it minging?

Almost too scared to sniff.

Well minging! 2 days in the fridge!

Oh God, okay. Will have to think of summat else for tea. My laid back neighbour said would be grand.

I have been known to boil it to buggery on the third day and use it anyway...

But I think a week is pushing it!

I think I used some after 3 or 4 days.

We all lived.

I made some last Sat. and will use it today. If it's been covered up in a cold fridge it's unlikely to have gone off. I'm sure some of the chilled stocks you can buy in supermarkets have a reasonably long life.
