Can single cream be frozen?

was in Lidl today stocking up on some basics - rice, couscous, pasta, etc - and the man at the till showed me a box of food they were giving away as it was soon to go off.

happily, there wasn't much left, but i took 3 containers of single cream that are due to go off 8/5.

can i freeze them?

if not, what the hell can i make with it pronto?

Lightly whip the cream and then put into bags in portions you can use in one go and then freeze. Defrost when needed. This works really well !
