Banana, mango (slippy to hold), pear not apple too early as it breaks off in chunks, pasta, toast with or without marmite or cream cheese, pasta twirls (easier shape to grip than macaroni etc), cheese, lightly steamed/parboiled carrots, (whispers - chips are the ideal size and shape as long as no salt), organix do a nice range of baby crisps and wotsit type snacks which are handy when you're out, you must have tried rice cakes and rusks already, long sticks of celery from the fridge are lovely on gums, easy to hold and they last for ages! cheerios, sweetcorn and raisins are nice practice for minor motor skills but watch with raisins as a choking hazard till baby works out what to do.

If DS was writing this he would have no hesitation adding yoghurt, baked beans and mashed potato to the list! My HV just said "fingers were invented before spoons!" probably the most useful thing she ever said!
