Salmon for dinner..........but what do I do with them?

I know how to cook it but have no idea what to do to season it, or what to add to it or wahtever you do.

Any ideas?

might have missed the slot for salmon but my favourite is poached

cover with water, 6 or so peppercorns, bay leaf and couple of wedges of lemon .. bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes... yummy

Ok ladies..... kept it simple, had no choise really as cupbaords were bare of most things you all suggested.

I just foil wrapped it, with a teeny weeny bit of Ex.Vir olive oil, black pepper and then as I was having stir fry too chucked in abit of light soy sauce too. Have no idea if all that was a cullinery no-no but it was bloody lovely all the same.

Much nicer than Dh's at lunch time, he had it plain with new potatoes and mixed veg. Booorring
