Its chicken breast - wrapped up really well, taken out on Thu and stored in the 'meat' compartment of the fridge.

Is it still OK to have?

Thanks!!!

no way

Once chicken has been frozen and thawed, it should be cooked or discarded within 24 hours. Once it is cooked, it will last a few more days in the fridge.
So NO

greenday, are you trying to live up to your name?

greenday · 05/05/2008 20:29

haha! you've got a point there! I've come to my senses and have just chucked my entire chicken casserole out - i didn't think before and had mixed my old meat with new meat and only wondered about the safety when it was cooking and smelling oh-so-yummy! Sigh!
