black bananas - banana bread or cake or something......

I have lots of banana's which need using up - dh is going on about banana break or something, does anyone have a recipe????

I madethese today, missed out the vanilla extract (didn't have any!) and the walnuts.
And if you have any Twix bars, this (scroll right down to the bottom of the page), is really nice too!

I freeze them and use them in smoothies

There is a brilliant cheat for making banana cake. Buy the cheapest plain/vanilla packet cake mix you can find and make it as per instructions. Add the squishy banana and whizz it all up again. Then crumble in one weetabix and stir. Bake it. So easy and simple!
Apparently you can also add 2 bananas and 2 weetabix etc, but I only ever seem to have one lonely banana left...!

this is lovely, soak the sultanas in orange juice if you don't want alcohol. Really moist, and easy.

Banana and chocolate chip muffins are lovely

Nigella express banana and buterscotch muffins are delicious. I use choc chips cos can't find butterscotch ones.

Nigellas banana bread is lovely. i leave out sultanas though as dh hates them. Then whilst it's still warm in the tin I poke lots of holes in with a skewer and drizzle maple syrup all over.

any non-cakely ideas? they're a bit bored of banana cakes around here [jaded]

american style pancakes - chuck the mashed banana in the batter

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sgugar
2 eggs
3 bananas
2 cups flour

Smush together.

put in loaf tin

bake until it cleans the knife.
