am meeting a friend half way between our homes tom for lunch with the kiddies but am struggling to find something good where the kids can play and we can sit and chat and then all have lunch! kids are 4, 3.5 and 1. anything would be good, soft play, advernture parks etc. have heard of brocketts farm park but seems expensive to get in and then lunch too!

Bocketts Farm is excellent. I'm not sure that you need to pay for admission to use the restaurant - it may be worth a check.

Nearby is Polesdon Lacey, a NT property. Again there is an admission charge, but it's not too steep.

Don't need to pay to go just to the restaraunt, as it is outside the actual farm, but tbh the food isn't very nice and is over priced. We generally take a picnic and go into the farm, has plenty o keep the children entertained.
