need help with that jamie oliver advert recipie,please

in the advert where he is feeding a fmaily of 4 on a fiver, he does spaghetti and meatball in tomato sauce.

what does he do to the meatballs? do you have to cook them first? in the oven?

have asked dh who is a chef-not sure what Jamie does but dh would cook them first to gte rid of the excess fat that will ooze out.

You have to cook the meatballs first in a frying pan, then you add them to the sauce.

btw, meatballs taste much better if you use half beef/half pork mince - imo!

thank you. i ended up burning the meatballs and they gave the tomato sauce a horrible burnt taste

I am trying the Sausage Casserole recipe tonight as we had some Taste the Difference sausages in the freezer as they have been on offer.

Also going to try the Meatball one this week, anything to add variety
