I am getting into making cakes at the moment and I fancy getting myself a mixer. But what do I get myself?

I can't afford more than £130 and would prefer to spend less...so....any advice as to what to choose?

Is the Kenwood Patissier a good choice or should I look for an old Kenwood on ebay perhaps? Help!

I went to a church sale the other week. I'd already spent a fair bit on one stall (brand new shirts from M&S for £4 for DH). Saw she'd got a Kenwood Chef for £25. Only had £15 left, and she let me have it for that!

I've used it a number of times already! Its brill! And this is someone who "wasted" £100 on a Bamix hand blender, which I do use, but I prefer the Kenwood Chef.
