Stupid question...

Can you freeze crumble (as in apple and blackberry crumble)? Have seen some recipes in A Karmels book but says you can't freeze them. Just wondering if i can as am sure my mum has frozen it before and it is obviously more convenient to make a few rather than individually each time!
