I don't see why you cant microwave it - what's it got in it? I would make it a bit 'wtter' than normal.

Or do something that doesn;t need heating up, like salad with bacon and cheese, or something hob-able like scallops with salad.

Was going to do tomato & mascarpone risotto.
Have 1 person that does no seafood & one that won"t eat anything spicy/garlic...

Risoto with no garlic? Starters are great cos you don't neeed much, - how about tempura? Not as tricky as it seems, and you just need a pan of hot oil. You can do prawns or veg.
Or bruschetta? Tomato and grillled courgette, or tomato and cheese on top.dunno about no garlic tho.
Or soup? Cook a nice light watercress soup and just heat gently. serve with homemade bread, in a small teacup.
Or those little meat-on-a-skewer greek things...souvlaki? I'm sure they're called something like that. Or do a thai twist, chicken on skewers with a peanut and coconut sauce - i'll remembre what they're called in a minute!

Ooh thanks CM - I have souvlaki herbs that someone brought back as a pressie from Greece - will go for that
