I have now just found half a (cooked) caterpillar in my sainsbury's frozen sweetcorn!

Following on from having found a stone in a Sainsbury's ready meal, I have found the end half (no head) of a caterpillar in my sweetcorn having nearly finished my (late) dinner. I feel really really ill.

I know it could have only come from there.

Yuck yuck yuck!

Eww! Take it back and kick up a stink. Or take it to environmental health and get them to kick up a stink. That's gross!

Icky, but you're still doing better than the caterpillar.

callmewhatyoulike · 03/04/2008 23:33

Also, where is the other half? (insert feeling green emoticon).

I think you know where the other half is.

Girlfrommars is right.

I've spent the night being ill as has my child who ate some sweetcorn too (who doesn't know about the caterpillar), do you think it's just a coincidence?

CountessDracula · 04/04/2008 13:49

I don't think eating a caterpillar will do you any harm tbh

Divvy · 04/04/2008 13:51

Take it back to shop ,ask to see manager. This happened to me once, and got quite a bit of money in vouchers!

Mine you, never been able to eat Morrisons salad bag ever again [sick face]

Iota · 04/04/2008 13:51

it's all part of the Circle of Life

callmewhatyoulike · 04/04/2008 13:51

I've also had a close look at the remaining bit of caterpillar and it seems it's mostly the skin bit left (barf again).

foxinsocks · 04/04/2008 13:52

are you sure it was a caterpillar?

CountessDracula · 04/04/2008 13:52

are you a vegetarian?

callmewhatyoulike · 04/04/2008 13:55

I'm not actually veggie, no, although I rarely eat meat.

It's most definitely a caterpillar. It has sucker type feet, ripples, is caterpillar shape and has a caterpillar pattern on it's back (lines of spots).

foxinsocks · 04/04/2008 13:56

do you think you ate the head?
