pasta - cook the pasta, drain and keep on one side. Cook a veg or cream sauce, warm tha pasta back up in it.

Or soup, with great french bread and cheese.

chilli yuou could do with lentils.

We go to france camping every year and I take a pile of spices out of our cupboard with us so I can rustle up a curry or chilli.
You can buy mince, just make sure it is beef mince not horse!
You can also try a stir fry - lots of lovely fresh veg on their markets.
Their markets are great for fish/seafood and cheese. Also usually do freshly cooked meats, like ham etc
We even have one dd with multiple allergies and we cope so have fun!!
